The NivoRadar® offers a flat flange version and also an aiming flange version. Using the adjustable aiming flange, the radar is perfectly aligned since the probe can be fixed to the desired point. In other words, the angle of the beam can be set to a specific point; for example, at the outlet of the silo. The lens antenna is highly resistant to material deposits and offers a self-clean function for extremely sticky solids using an air flush connection.

J-Tec was assigned by Asahi Kasei Plastics to build a $30 million installation for advanced thermoplastic compounds. The plant is built on Asahi’s newest site in Limestone County, Athens, Alabama. In order to meet high quality standards, and ensure the best production efficiency, the Belgium based company turned to Russell Finex, the leading supplier of high quality separation equipment, for an innovative processing solution. The extraction of seed oil from residual frozen pulp begins by separating the seeds from the juice pulp. In order to separate the seeds, the frozen pulp is first melted and then dried. The issue the company was facing was that there was too much dust from the dried juice pulp attached to the seeds after the drying process, which resulted in a lower quality of extracted oil. In the second half of 2015, Dinnissen Process Technology invested in and expanded their own D-Innocenter test plant. The existing set-up for tests with pneumatic conveying is one of the facilities that has been upgraded. With the latest additions to the D-Innocenter, Dinnissen Process Technology now can offer an even more extensive range of tests for pneumatic conveying. All aspects can be tested, including dense phase, dune phase, and dilute phase. These can be performed on either vacuum or pressure systems, and with or without air assist. The total length of pipework available has been extended and now comes to around 120 meters, with diameters varying between 50 to 110 mm. A new powder-flow tester increases the understanding of the processed product. Combining these facilities with the comprehensive analysis-equipment for powder and bulk materials, as well as the design and calculation software available to Dinnissen, it makes for a set-up where full scale testing can be offered.
