Speed meets quality: Sesotec metal separators ready in 5 days

Quick delivery program for standard devices with extensive configuration options for use in the plastics industry

Schönberg, November 2023

Sesotec, one of the leading developers and manufacturers of detection, separation and sorting systems, has achieved a remarkable increase in efficiency in the record year 2023: An optimized alignment of production processes, including lean methods, makes it possible to produce the proven metal separators of the PROTECTOR, RAPID VARIO-FS and GF series as ”fast lane” products ready for dispatch within just five working days from order placement. Sesotec COO Stefan Feldmeier comments: ”The fast delivery program, which is unique in the industry, not only reflects the continuous development of our company, but also the decades of experience and extensive expertise of our employees. The combination of all factors is the basis for our success.”

This achievement underlines Sesotec’s market leadership and reliability in the plastics industry. ”If our customers have problems with metal contamination during the production or processing of plastic, none of our competitors are currently able to deliver metal separators to solve the problem as quickly as Sesotec,” says Dietmar Dieing, Vice President Sales Plast at Sesotec.

The availability of the metal detectors and separators enables Sesotec’s customers in the plastics industry to minimize production downtime and maximize the quality assurance of their products. The worldwide shipping capability of these devices guarantees delivery readiness at an international level. Dietmar Dieing adds: ”If you order now, you will have your Sesotec product ready for use on site the following week in the best case scenario. I don’t know of any other mechanical engineering company that can deliver so quickly.”

Reliable and precise sorting with multisensor sorting systems from Sesotec Schönberg, November 2023. Croatia‘s accession to the European Union has also given a significant boost to the topic of recycling, among other things. Since then, the aim has been to implement the EU‘s waste directives and current targets and, above all, to drive forward the circular economy to a national level. The EU target of recycling more than 65 percent of the municipal waste generated by 2035 has paved the way for a sustainable circular economy. Plastic packaging manufacturers in the circular economy An example from the field of plastic packaging shows that especially the distributors and manufacturers of such packaging who see it as their duty to make their contribution to the circular economy and thus to environmental protection and resource conservation. The aim is to use recycled PET material in the production of PET beverage packaging and to continuously increase its share. When using recycled PET, purity is the decisive factor. Pure recyclate is the be-all and end-all for profitable PET recycling
Reiling relies on sound quality inspection with sorting and material analysis systems from Sesotec With more than 100 years of experience, the Reiling Group of Companies is constantly striving to create new opportunities for the optimal recycling and utilization of valuable materials. Reiling contributes to resource conservation as well as environmental and climate protection with efficient recycling processes. In addition to recycling glass, photovoltaic panels and wood, Reiling operates PET recycling plants at its sites in Hamm, Marienfeld and, since 2020, Burgbernheim. Quality control in PET preparation process In the PET recycling cycle in particular, the purity of the recycled end product is a prerequisite for rPET to be reused in a variety of ways. The production of new PET bottles or the manufacture of polyester fibers are just two individual examples of the use of rPET. If the highest quality recyclate is used, the recycling loop is closed. The need to produce virgin material recedes into the background. Extensive and at the same time elaborate quality
